Introducing Tom Wilson, marketing automation campaign manager

By Christina Bentley on August 1, 2019

The digital marketing team welcomes Tom Wilson as their marketing automation campaign manager.

Lead Tech’s digital marketing team delivers targeted campaigns that allow us to provide high-quality leads to our financial services partners. Tom will be an integral part of the team, using his expertise in creating successful on and offline marketing campaigns to engage customers.

After studying history and politics, Tom found his calling working as an assistant marketing manager for Techtronic Industries, where he developed TV and digital marketing campaigns. The next couple of years were significant, helping him realise his passion for understanding consumers. He moved to Morphy Richards as their new assistant category consumer manager, and in his following role at Performing Gaming, he gained valuable experience creating full customer lifecycles, CRM plans and promotions.

Most recently, Tom worked for character and children’s entertainment licensing agency, Those Licensing People, handling the marketing for Sooty and Sweep. From outdoor power tools and lawnmowers to apps and slow cookers, Tom’s broad experience has shaped his successful career as a marketer, providing him with the ability to adapt to customer needs and thought processes. It’s these skills that will make him a valuable addition to Lead Tech.

“I’m excited to work for a company that is undergoing so much rapid change and growth, whilst still maintaining a fantastic atmosphere. I’d love to think this is the start of a long career where I can grow my skills and experience as Lead Tech grows”.

When he wants to unwind, the keen music lover enjoys playing the guitar. Tom would rather watch football matches than be out on the pitch, but he likes to stay active by hiking in the Yorkshire Dales and playing squash.
