We’re always looking for new ways to give our partners the resources they need to exceed their business goals. Now more than ever, advisers need a go-to home of resources to help their businesses.
Our digital marketing, sales, and partner services teams have all brought their expertise to our brand new Lead Tech Partner Toolkit, our online hub that means advisers can get the support, knowledge, and advice the moment they need it.
And while the Partner Success Team has been checking in with advisers over the past few weeks, we realised they needed more support. So, we decided it was time to finally make our partner toolkit a reality.
Here’s a quick tour of the toolkit:
Regulation Updates and Resources
Our partners are busy people and it can be time-consuming trying to keep up to date with new regulation. We wanted to give them a helping hand by giving them access to expert insights from our compliance specialist and Fellow of the Chartered Institute Institute, Karen Malin.
Karen’s expertise is second to none and we knew that making her knowledge available would help our partners free up valuable time that could be better spent advising their clients.
Online Mastermind Events
Sharing knowledge is an important part of the service we offer our partners. We wanted to tap into our national network and bring together key industry figures to discuss the topics, issues, and challenges on advisers’ minds.
Our online Mastermind Sessions give them a forum where they can discuss new business opportunities, regulation news and tips. In our first event, Karen Malin joined John Grimbaldeston, Marketing Director at The Private Office, and Glyn Woodgates, Business Standards Manager at OneFamily Advice Limited, to discuss how advisers are coping with remote working.
This event was a huge success and we encourage our partners to take part by registering for future sessions and submitting questions for our panels.
Sales and Marketing Tips
Our high-performing partners know success lies in their ability to build their marketing and sales strategies around their customers. We’ve curated our top tips into downloadable guides to help our partners grow, promote, and develop their businesses.
From overcoming common customer objections to voicemail templates, we give advisers the knowledge they need to convert new leads. The toolkit also includes valuable advice on running an effective business remotely, standing out from the competition and insights from our Partner Success Programme.
Tech How-To Guides
We know that many advisers struggle to balance advising their clients with networking, admin, and marketing. We’ve created a series of tech guides to help ease their transition into remote working and help them run their businesses effectively. Each short guide will help them get up to speed on today’s top tech tools in minutes, with links to further resources.
Partners can learn how to use Zoom and Mailchimp to engage with their clients and stay in touch with their teams via Slack. We’ve also included guides on other tools to help them boost productivity such as Calendly and project management tools like Trello.
Extra support for advisers
While our Partner Success team is always on hand to answer questions about our partners’ performance and targets, we know that advisers need extra support from time to time.
By accessing the toolkit, they now have the opportunity to ask our compliance expert, Karen Malin, questions about best practice, the FCA, and regulatory updates. If they still have questions after reading our tech guides, they can also get support from our in-house tech team.
Nigel Borwell, Lead Tech joint CEO explains, “We’re always striving to deliver a better service to our partners to help them achieve their goals. We’ve listened to our partners and after weeks of hard work, I’m proud to share our new Partner Toolkit. It will allow us to deliver a greater level of value to our partners and give them the support they need at this crucial time.”
