Brett Carroll joins Lead Tech as our business development manager.
Lead Tech’s partner services team builds lasting relationships with financial services firms throughout the UK. Brett will play a key role in helping the business grow its national network of partners.
Brett’s career has seen him create relationships with blue-chip clients across five continents, including Australia and North America. After studying business management, he worked as a senior sales executive for GDS International in Cardiff, followed by a promotion to sales and account manager a year later at their Sydney office. He spent the next two years as an account manager for Haymarket Media Group and nextmedia, before relocating to Austin. There he worked as a realtor for Keller Williams Realty.
Brett’s most recent role as a senior business development manager saw him managing a portfolio of around 100 IT clients for Spiceworks, a marketing solutions company. He’s proven himself to be an ambitious salesman and strategist, able to adapt to any situation or challenge and will make a valuable addition to the Lead Tech team.
He may be in his first week, but he’s enthusiastic about his new challenge at Lead Tech. “I’m excited to get started and to be an integral part of a growing team at Lead Tech, helping the company form partnerships with the largest financial advice firms in the country.”
In his downtime, Brett is a keen traveller. He’s been to over 50 countries, but his favourite moments involve backpacking through south-east Asia, hiking to Machu Picchu and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro while he was volunteering in Tanzania. He also loves competitive sport and stays active by playing football, rugby, basketball, cricket and badminton.
